About Me
Dr. Whiting is from small town Eagar, Arizona. His undergraduate training at Arizona State University focused on Microbiology. He graduated from Arizona Podiatric Medical School in Glendale, AZ. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Michigan, serving as chief resident during his third year.
Dr. Whiting is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
One of his favorite parts of being a podiatrist is that the patients often leave feeling better than when they came into clinic. He loves sharing his repertoire of Dad jokes and helping his patients feel at ease with his kind and patient bedside manner.
When not treating patients, you can find Dr Whiting archery hunting or with his wife and four daughters hiking, biking and partaking of the amazing outdoor life in Colorado.
Trevor Whiting DPM
Podiatry allows me to serve and care for patients in a variety of ways. I love that the patients often leave clinic already pain-free. When same-day treatment isn’t available, I will work with you until we get you back on your feet.
Compassionate Care, Communicated Clearly
I strive to take the time to listen to your concerns, and respond with empathy. I make sure the treatment options have been communicated in an understandable and individual manner. I understand that no single treatment plan will be perfect for everyone, and I won’t push you in a direction that you are not wanting to go. I have found that it is best to present all the different treatment options, as well as their risks, benefits and evidence-based outcomes, and then make the final mutual decision with you. Together, we will do all that is possible to get you back on your comfortable feet again.
Special Interests
Podiatry offers several subspecialties. I enjoy addressing the complicated issues as much as the straight-forward issues for the whole family. A few specific areas include fractures of the foot and/or ankle, Achilles (and other) tendon issues, ankle sprains, arch deformities (flat or high), bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, and arthritis. I love finding conservative treatment options for all issues, but when conservative treatments aren’t sufficient, I am certified to help in the most effective surgical manner possible. I look forward to helping you with all of your foot and ankle needs.
